Presidential sponsors are critical to the success of the NC ACE Network. They provide advice and mentorship to state chairs and state boards, select institutional representatives, and suggest state chairs for the network. They also provide moral, financial, time, and staffing support and resources to the state network and guide the network in seeking additional resources. Presidential sponsors publicly promote the work of the network and inform the network about key higher education topics regarding women. Presidential sponsors also often prepare and lead programming for women at the state or national level and develop strategies to support women in higher education in their state.
